Just when I thought it was safe to start-up MindManager, opening a specific “dashboard” Map at start-up, the error reported previously appears again, and as mentioned previously results in a corrupted Map file.
It appears that on opening the initial Map, changes are made, a modification to task properties. When the Map is opened the application indicates that a change has been made and their is one action in the undo list, see below…
Unfortunately, undoing that last action does not help, if I select undo, save and re-open, the Map is corrupted.

My “dashboard” Map contains task information, links to MS Outlook tasks and it appears that this may be the problem.
I then re-tested the opening of a new “blank” Map on start-up and the problem doesn’t appear.
I then attempted to insert a new Outlook Query…
and this is what I get…

So back to the drawing board (as they say) or in this case back to Mindjet support for further advice.
