Just had to remind myself how to recover a hidden application window, which was sitting off my screen in that virtual space, recently vacated by my desktop monitor, having just woken my laptop up from its slumber mode.
I figure if I write it down this time, I’ll remember it… or at least remember where I wrote it down and not have to search for the fix on the web again.
Windows 7 has a nice feature where you simply click the icon of the hidden application in the taskbar to make sure that the program has focus. Then hold down the Windows key…
and press the right or left arrow key a few times…
That will move the hidden window across the screen and bring it back onto the screen that is still active.
Great, I’m back in business.
